Therapy for Emotional Health
Your journey to self-growth and personal development doesn’t have to be lonely.
About
Genna Kalish
Seeking and braving therapy can be daunting and overwhelming. You might feel depressed, hopeless, anxious, or unmotivated to start. I want you to know that you are not alone.
With an empathetic approach, I will work with you to ensure you leave each session feeling validated, accepted, and respectfully challenged when you need another perspective.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and compassionate. I use a client-centred, strength-based, cognitive behavioural, and emotionally-focused lens to create a non-judgmental and safe space for you to succeed.
Everyone's therapeutic journey is unique, and together, we will find a path that suits you best.
I hold a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. Additionally, I have completed extensive training with both The Distress Centres of Greater Toronto and Kids Help Phone where I work as a counsellor.

I am registered with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, The Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists and The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
If you are feeling stuck, overwhlemed or unhappy, individual therapy can be a very beneficial resource. Your problems are never "too much" and you deserve to find the solutions to overcome your challenges.
Together, we will work to better understand the challenges faced by each individual, and the family as a unit. We will collaboratively establish goals and examine the best way to resolve issues and express emotions.
Embracing therapy with your partner is a proactive way to restore trust and find solutions to conflict. Identifying harmful patterns will allow you to progress with a re-established emotional connection and improved communication.
